LIUNA clothes our Neighbors! The Local 572 African American Caucus Committee, Latino Caucus Committee, Women's Caucus Committee, and Retiree Committee held “A Day of Giving Back.” Laborers collected donated clothes for local homeless shelters including the Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, MD.
President Trump’s termination of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo and board member Gwynne Wilcox has left workers without a voice. The NLRB, a critical forum for protecting workers rights, is now unable to function.
LIUNA General President Brent Booker urges the Administration to fill these vacancies with leaders who will put workers and their families FIRST—not corporate interests.

If workers are certified as a union by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and get recognition by their employer, they have the right to collectively bargain a contract.
Local 113 founded a women's caucus as part of their Laborers Rising and volunteer organizing committee efforts!
